The Social Project was founded in South Africa in March 2015, and is a non-profit company. We develop and provide collaborative, scalable educational platforms to connect, equip and empower Southern Africans.
Our current offerings include the School in a Box and Imbeko.
It is registered in South Africa as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO number 9300 51043), which allows us to issue Section 18a tax certificates for donations of cash or in kind.
This website aims to help people who want to get involved but don’t know where to start! There are over 100 organisations in Hout Bay dedicated to improving the life of the community.
